Sound Reduction
A.I.M.S. through its Advanced Experience in Aviation has proven results, through our repeat customers, and with our quick response, by being success oriented.
The following data illustrates the level of our Sound Recapabilities capabilities:
Sound Survey after Installation of AIMS Sound Reduction Kit
The cabin acoustic levels were measured during a sound survey conducted on a/c 9180 after the installation of the AIMS Sound Reduction Kit. The survey was conducted on September 7, 2007. The cabin configuration is presented in Figure 1. The sound survey was conducted in similar conditions as per the original sound survey conducted by Bombardier Aerospace on June 14, 2006, which is at an altitude of 45,000 feet and a speed of Mach 0.80. The results of the sound survey for each seat are presented in Table 1 below:
Table 2 provides a comparison for each location for the results obtained after the installation of the AIMS Sound Reduction Kit, and the results from the original sound survey which was conducted by Bombardier Aerospace on June 14, 2006, and Graph 1 provides a chart for the same data:
